Nay Pyi Taw, December 4
Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Chen Hao,secretary of Yunnan Province Party Committee of the People’s Republic of China, at Zeyathiri Beikman here this morning.
Also present together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).The secretary of Yunnan Province Party Committee was accompanied by Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Hong Liang and officials.
Both sides cordially discussed the development of Yunnan Province,strengthening of the relations between the two countries and the two armed forces, ensuring firm bilateral trade, border security,peace and stability, cooperation in education, health and transport development sectors for the development of the nationalities living in the border region, pursuance of democracy aspired by Myanmar people,efforts for achieving eternal peace and exchange of goodwill visits between the two armed forces.
After the meeting, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and H.E. Mr.Chen Hao exchanged gifts and posed for a group photo together with those present.
