Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Navy Admiral Luechai Ruddit at Zeyathiri Beikman, here, this evening.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Commander-in-Chief (Navy)Admiral Tin Aung San, Lt-Gen Soe Htut from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers. The Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Navy was accompanied by Thai Naval Attaché to Myanmar Captain Puchong Praditteera and officials.
Both sides cordially discussed needs to further promote friendly relations between the two countries and two armed forces, holding friendly sports games and cultural exchange, needs of taking exercises to make collaboration in carrying out rescue and helping tasks in natural disasters, cooperation with navies from ASEAN armed forces, exchange of goodwill visits of naval vessels and experiences.
The Senior General and the Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Navy posed for documentary photo together with those present after exchanging commemorative gifts.
