Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan H.E.Mr. Hiroto IZUMI at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this afternoon.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Chief of the General Staff(Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, Lt-Gen Nyo Saw, Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Japan was accompanied by Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr.Ichiro and officials.
They cordially exchanged views on endeavours of the Tatmadaw for paving the way of multi-party democracy chosen by the people and for securing eternal peace,tasks to re-accept Bengalis who left Buthidaung-Maungtaw region of Rakhine State for other country,help of Japan for development of Rakhine State, cooperation in agricultural and technological sectors and enhancement of trade sector for development of Myanmar,and promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries through cooperation between the two armed forces.
