Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of India to Myanmar H.E. Mr.Saurabh Kumar at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this afternoon.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers.The Indian Ambassador to Myanmar was accompanied by Defence Attaché Colonel Naveen Mahajan and officials.
At the meeting, they frankly discussed cooperation in security and defence affairs between the two armed forces of both countries, plans to further enhance the cooperation, cooperation in ensuring peace and stability of border region between the two countries, exchange of sports contingents and cultural troupes at different levels of both armed forces for further strengthening of friendly relations,and situation of cooperation in navies of both countries including maritime measuring tasks.
