Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a goodwill visit in China at the invitation of Member of China’s Central Military Commission and Chief of the Joint Staff Department Gen. Li Zhocheng, accompanied by Myanmar Ambassador to China U Thit Lin Ohn, Lt-Gen Than Tun Oo and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Tint Hsan, and officials, left Nanyuan military airport in Beijing this morning. They were seen off by Director of China’s Office for International Military Cooperation Major General Ci Guowei and officials of the China People’sLiberation Army.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General arrived at Huangshu Airport in Anshun in Guizhou Province at noon. They were welcomed by the head of Guizhou military region and officials. The Senior General and party then went a sightseeing tour around the town, and took high-speed electric train from Anshun railway station to the northern railway station in Guiyang.
The Senior General and party were welcomed by the senior military officers of China People’s Liberation Army at the northern railway station in Guiyang.
