Commander-in-Chief of De-fence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force Lt. Gen. Rozzano D Briguez AFP who was in Myanmar at the invitation of Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw at the parlour of Zeyathiri Beikman here this morning. Also present together with the Senior General were Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).
The Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force was accompanied by senior military officers from the Philippine Air Force and Philippine Military Attaché to Myanmar Col. Vicente Map Blanco.
The cordial meeting was focused on friendship and situations to boost cooperation between the two armed forces of both countries, exchange of information to eradicate terrorism, exchange of experiences in the affairs of Air Force and natural disaster prevention, training affairs and mutual rank-wise visits to increase friendship between the two armed forces.
