Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar H.E.Dr.Khalid Hussain Memon, who is going to return home after having completed his tour of duty, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here,this evening.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army)and senior military officers.
Cordial discussion focused on good friendly relations between Myanmar and Pakistan, strengthening of relations and friendship between the two armed forces, strengthening of cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, efforts for internal and regional peace and stability, the need to convince the international community of real situations in Myanmar as they have misunderstanding of the country and international relations.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Pakistani ambassador exchanged gifts and posed for a documentary photo.
