The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Yangon International Airport by air on 15 August morning to attend the closing ceremony of International Army Games-2019 being held in the Russian Federation at the invitation of Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation. The delegation arrived at Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow, the Russian Federation, in the evening and was welcomed by Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander V.Fomin,Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Ko Ko Shein, Military Attaché Commodore Kyaw Soe Moe and officials.
This morning, the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General visited Zhukovsky International Airport where they were welcomed by Deputy General Director of Irkut Corporation Mr. Vladimir A. Valkov and officials. At the airport lounge,the Tatmadaw delegation was briefed on production process of mediumscale passenger airplane MC-21, test flying and checks necessary in test flying. The Senior General raised questions for further information.Next, Test Pilot Mr. Oleg Mutovin briefed the Senior General on handling of flying equipment in the cockpit of MC-21 and installation of other flying equipment inside the plane.
The Senior General then asked for more information and viewed the equipment.Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Deputy General Director of Irkut Corporation Mr. Vladimir A. Valkov exchanged gifts at the airport lounge.
