Led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation, which attended the closing ceremony of International Army Games-2019 held in the Russian Federation, visited Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara (Moscow) this morning where they paid homage to Dr Bhaddanta Acchariya, abbot of the Vihara, and donated offertories and day meal.
Firstly, the Senior General and party supplicated on religious affairs to the abbot Sayadaw of Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara (Moscow). They donated cash for nine pre-requisites to the Sayadaw, sharing merits gained for donations.
The Senior General and party then offered day meal to members of the Sangha headed by the Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Acchariya.
Afterwards, the Senior General supplicated on future plans for construction of religious buildings at Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara (Moscow) to the Sayadaw,including propagation of Buddha Sasana. Later, the Senior General together with Abbot Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Acchariya looked round the precinct of the Vihara.
