The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-inChief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who attended the closing ceremony of International Army Games-2019 held in the Russian Federation at the invitation of Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, Minister of Defence ofthe Russian Federation,left Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow on the night of 19 August. They were seen off at the airport by Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander V.Fomin, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Ko Ko Shein, Myanmar Military Attaché(Army, Navy and Air) Commodore Kyaw Soe Moe and officials.
The Tatmadaw delegation led by the Senior General arrived back at Yangon International Airport this afternoon and was welcomed back by Lt-Gen Min Naung from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief(Army), Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Thet Pon, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Andrey Baronov,Military Attaché Colonel Eduard OKLADNIKOV and officials.
Together with the Senior General,Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Maung Maung Aye and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army)also arrived back on the same flight.During the visit, the delegation attended the closing ceremony of International Army Games-2019,met with Russian military leaders to discuss strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation and visited significant places.
