Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Sok Chea, who had completed his tour of duty, at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this evening.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Cambodian Ambassador was accompanied by Consul Ms. Dy Yoeun and officials.
At the meeting, they cordially discussed background histories of Myanmar and Cambodia, many common facts about physical characters, culture, religion and critical thinking and situation to further promote existing friendly relations, standing of Cambodia with Myanmar in the international arena as well as in ASEAN by understanding true situations of Myanmar, mutual cooperation in economic sector, tourism services and expositions, and exchange of visits on training affairs, sports and culture between the two armed forces of both countries.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Cambodian Ambassador exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photo together with those present.
