Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) families and well-wishers donated rice, oil, salt, peas, medicine and cash to the medicine and rice funds of Chairman of State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee (SSMNC) Abhidhaja Maharatha Guru Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Agga Maha Pandita Bhamo Sayadaw Dr. Bhaddanta Kumara Bhivamsa, and members of Sangha at Bhamo Monastery in Maha Aungmyay Township in Mandalay Region this evening.
The donation ceremony was attended by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air)General Maung Maung Kyaw and wife, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief,the Central Command commander and wife, well-wishers, religious associations, officers and other ranks and their families and invited guests.
The Senior General and congregation received five precepts from the Bhamo Sayadaw, and members of Sangha recited Metta Sutta. The Senior General and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla presented offertories and 50 bags of rice and five bags of peas donated by Tatmadaw (Army,Navy and Air) families to Bhamo Sayadaw.
The Commander-in-Chief (Navy),the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and wife, senior military officers and well-wishers presented offertories to members of Sangha.
Adjutant General Lt-Gen Myo Zaw Thein presented cash donated by Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air)families to rice funds, and wellwishers also donated cash to rice funds. The Senior General accepted the funds and returned certificates of honor. The Commander-in-Chief(Navy) and the Commander-in-Chief(Air) accepted cash donations and returned certificates of honor to well-wishers.
The Bhamo Sayadaw then delivered sermons and the Senior General and congregation shared merits gained.After the donation ceremony, the Senior General and party cordially greeted well-wishers and attendees.

The Senior General and wife presented offertories as well as 128 bags of rice and 13 bags of peas donated by Tatmadaw (Army,Navy and Air) families to State Ovadacariya Presiding Sayadaw of Ma Soe Yein Monastery Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Kavana Bhivamsa.

The Senior General accepted cash donated to rice funds by Adjutant General Lt-Gen Myo Zaw Thein on behalf of Tatmadaw(Army, Navy and Air) families as well as cash donated by wellwishers to rice funds, and presented certificates of honor to them. The Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and the Commander-in-Chief (Air)accepted cash donations and returned certificates of honor to well-wishers.
Mandalay Region Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee Chairman Ma Soe Yein Monastery Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Visetta Bhivamsa then delivered sermons and the Senior General and congregation shared merits gained. The Senior General and party offered meals to members of Sangha.
A total of Ks-27.5 million to rice funds, 178 bags of rice, 50 viss of oil, 18 bags of peas, 10 bags of salt, 105 cartons of biscuits, 100 cartons of instant noodles, 50 cartons of soaps, various medicines and other offertories were donated by Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air)families and well-wishers.
