Commander-in-ChiefofDefence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar H.E. Bhim K.Udas at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this morning.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief(Army).
At the meeting, cordial discussions were centred on the good relations between the two friendly countries,Myanmarand Nepal, and the reaching of friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and Nepal to the highest level including the exchange of State level goodwill visits between the two countries and the signing of trade and investment agreements, following the endeavours for enhancing friendship and cooperation between the two armed forces of the two countries during the goodwill visit of the Senior General to Nepal in December 2017. They also exchanged views on matters relating to further cementing amicable relations between the two armed forces ofthe two countries,exchange of trainees, cooperation in bilateral trade and tourism,promoting cooperation in other areas of economy, cooperation in art and culture sectors and exchange of goodwill visits.
