Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Ichiro MARUYAMA at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this evening.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers. The Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar was accompanied by Consul Mr. Kazuyuki Takimi.
At the meeting, both sides discussed situations to further cement existing friendly relations between the two countries and the two armed forces, internal peace affairs of Myanmar, and exchange of trainees between the two armed forces.
