Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Mr. Jan Egeland, State Secretary (Retired) in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this afternoon.
Their meeting focused on giving humanitarian aid at refugee camps, situations to help displaced persons return to their original places and improve their social lives, and area-wise security situations in undertaking humanitarian tasks.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and senior military officers. The Secretary General of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) was accompanied by officials.
