Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Union Minister for Defence Lt-Gen Sein Win and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and wife, retired commanders-in-chief (Navy), retired com-manders-in-chief (Air), senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the commander of Central Command, viewed round displays at the exhibition in commemoration of the 72nd Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) at Flying Training Base in Meiktila Station on the evening of 14 December.
First, the Senior General and wife cut the ribbon to open the exhibition to mark the 72nd Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) and souvenir shops. Together with those present at the ceremony, the Senior General and wife viewed round the documentary photos on aviation history, history of Tatmadaw (Air), international relations of the Tatmadaw (Air), female and male training of the Tatmadaw (Air), movements of youths for aviation training courses, training of mechanical officers, other ranks and substitute-appointed servicemen of the Tatmadaw (Air), scale-models of aircraft and equipment of pilots at the exhibition.
The Senior General and party put a documentary signature in commemoration of the 72nd Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) and visited the souvenir shops of air bases, the shop of Myanmar tra-ditional foods, book shop and shops of personal goods produced by the Tatmadaw.
In the evening, the Senior General and party watched sing-ing and dancing performance of families of the Tatmadaw (Air) to the accompaniment of the Tatmadaw (Air) Band at the concert to mark the 72nd Anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) at Thura Ohn Khaing Hall of Flying Training Base.
