Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force Air Chief Marshal Maanat Wongwat at the parlour of Zeyathiri Beikman here this morning.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Air Chief Marshal was accompanied by Senior Adviser to the Royal Thai Air Force Air Marshal Kemtus Jiraprapar, Royal Thai Air Force Military Attaché Group Captain Pruit Tugesuin and officials.
Cordial discussion focused on a long history of good relations between Myanmar and Thailand as they are good neighbours, situations in which the good relations between the two armed forces con-tribute much towards the friendship between the two countries, greater cooperation between the two armed forces and among the ASEAN countries in HADR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response) processes, sharing of weather information, sending of trainees and exchange of goodwill visits.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Air Chief Marshal exchanged gifts and posed for a documentary photo together with those present.
