Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Ichiro MARUYAMA at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here this afternoon.
Also present together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Japanese Ambassador was accompanied by First Secretary Ms. Yoko TAKU-SHIMA.
Both sides cordially discussed the essential need for stability in terms of politics and security in a country, the need for every country to practise democracy suitable for their own, continued measures for the report of Independent Commission of Enquiry (ICOE) and Tatmadaw’s efforts for achieving internal peace in Myanmar.
