Nay Pyi Taw June 22
A Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Tatmadaw Airport in Nay Pyi Taw by the special aircraft of Myanmar Airways International (MAI) this morning to attend the Parade to mark 75th Anniversary Victory Day of Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) to be held in the Russian Federation at the invitation of Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw delega-tion led by the Senior General were seen off at the airport by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Nikolay A. Listopadov, Military Attaché Colonel Eduard OKLADNIKOV and officials.
The Senior General is accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief taking along with 19 family members of the Russian Federation Embassy to Myanmar who faced difficulties to return to the Russian Federation due to outbreak of COVID-19.
