The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in the Russian Federation, attended a dinner hosted by Director General Mr. Ivan Ponyakov of Interstate Corporation Developments on the evening of 24 June.
First, the Senior General and party received the Director General of Interstate Corporation Developments and party at the parlour aboard the river cruise speedboat in Moscow River and discussed situations to cooperate in improvement of military technology, cooperation in communication system and attending of the Myanmar Tatmadaw to the Parade to mark the 75th Anniversary Victory Day of Great Patriotic War.
The Director General of Interstate Corporation Developments hosted a dinner to the Senior General and party aboard the river cruise speedboat. They enjoyed development of urban lifestyle, scenic beauties along the banks and relaxation of the people along their route of Moscow River. During the dinner, the Russian rural traditional music entertainment troupe performed traditional songs and cultural dances. The Senior General presented cash award to them.
At 11 pm, fireworks in commemoration of the successful completion of the Parade to mark the 75th Anniversary Victory Day of Great Patriotic War were launched from Luzhniki stadium. The Senior General and party viewed the scenes from the speedboat. Along the banks of Moscow River and speedboats were crowded with the people who watched fireworks.
After the dinner, the Senior General and the Director General of Interstate Corporation evelopments exchanged commemorative gifts.
