Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Central Command Brig-Gen Ko Ko Oo and party, inspected Ding Wang snack factory and Gold Aya Motor factory in Mandalay-Myotha Indus-trial Park in Mandalay Region this afternoon.
First, the Senior General and party arrived at the project site of Mandalay-Myotha Industrial Park, where Chairman U Aung Win Khaing of the project and officials welcomed the Senior General and party. At the briefing hall of Myotha project, the Senior General heard reports on the implementation of the projects, creation of job opportunities for local residents, healthcare services and measures taken for long-term flourishing of Buddhism and said that it was a good project that can create job opportunities and pointed out the need to conduct training courses for human resources development. The Senior General said that business activities can be accelerated by manufacturing finished products from raw materials based on agriculture and livestock breeding farms in the region. In conclusion, the Senior General pointed out the need to take accommodation, health and social affairs of staff into consideration in implementation of the project.
Afterwards, the Senior General and party arrived at Ding Wang snack factory, where the factory manager and official welcomed and conducted the Senior General and party round the factory. The Senior General and party inspected the production process from raw materials to finished products and discussed matters related to the factory.
Then, the Senior General and party proceeded to Gold Aya Motor factory and inspected the assembling of automobiles. Officials from the factory conducted the Senior General and party round the factory. The Senior General inspected the assembling of interior parts, exterior parts and engine parts.
