A Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left the Yangon International Airport this morning to attend the Defence & Security 2017 for ASEAN countries to be held in Thailand.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Senior General was seen off at the airport by Lt-Gen Soe Htut of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Thet Pon and senior military officers, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, the Naval Attaché and the Air Force Attaché of the Royal Thai Armed Forces to Myanmar and officials.
The Senior General and party were accompanied by Lt-Gen Nyo Saw and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).
Then, the Senior General and party arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok of Thailand where they were welcomed by Joint Chief of Staff Gen. Ponpipaat Benyasri of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and senior officers, Myanmar Ambassador to Thailand U Myo Myint Than, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and officials.
