Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of India to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Saurabh Kumar at the parlour of Zeyathiri Beikman of Yangon Command Headquarters this afternoon.
Present at the meeting together with the Senior General was Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo of the Office of the Commander in Chief (Army) and the Ambassador of India to Myanmar was accompanied by Defence Attaché of India to Myanmar Colonel Ketan Arun Mohite.
They frankly discussed matters related to security and defence cooperation between the two armed forces, potentials for future cooperation, collaboration for security, peace and stability and transportation in border areas between the two countries, cooperation in combat against narcotic drugs, exchange of information, further promotion of cooperation in friendly relations and respective sectors between the two countries and two armed forces.
