Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets Secretary of Security Council of Russian Federation and Director General of Rosoboronexport Company separately

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in the Russian Federation, held talks with Mr. Nikolai Platonovich Patrushev, secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, at the latter’s office at about 10.30 am local standard time.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were member of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) BrigGen Kyaw Soe Moe. The Secretary of the Russian Security Council was accompanied by officials.
Both sides cordially discussed cooperation in security processes between the two governments, political changes in Myanmar, the Tatmadaw’s participation in the national political leadership role of Myanmar, strengthening of existing cooperation between the two countries and between the two armed forces and cooperation in multi-sectors.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Secretary of the Russian Security Council exchanged emblems and souvenirs.
At 9 am local standard time also, the Senior General and party received Mr. Alexander A. Mikheev, director general of Rosoboronexport Company,and officials at the lounge of Metropol Hotel they are staying. They cordially discussed military technological cooperation and political changes.
Then, the Senior General and the Director General of the Company exchanged gifts.
