Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with families of the Myanmar Embassy, Military Attaché Office and scholarship trainees in Russian Federation at the Turandot Restaurant in Mos-cow and delivered a speech in the afternoon on 23 June.
Present at the meeting together with the Senior General were member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo of the SAC, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, members of the delegation, Counsellor U Zaw Lin Oo of Myanmar Embassy in Russian Federation, Military Attaché Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Moe, families of the embassy and the military attaché office and scholarship trainees.
In his speech, the Senior General pointed out the need to offer help to one another as the staff and trainees are per-forming duties in a foreign country and explained politi-cal developments of Myanmar, measures taken for strengthening of multi-party democracy system and emergence of genuine and sincere democracy and the needs to find opportunities for businesses of mutual interests, exports and imports through diplomatic relations as economy is the driving force for development of a country, to exert efforts by serving the interests of the country, political and economic progress of the country and to promote the image of the country as good servants of the country.
Then, the Senior General highlighted the need for the staff of the embassy and mili-tary attaché office to cooperate unitedly as diplomatic relations are essential between countries and for scholarship trainees to learn the studies seriously and continuously while exerting uni-ted efforts for the development of the country on the other hand.
Then, the Senior General pre-sented gifts and cash rewards for families of the embassy and the military attaché office to the counsellor and the military attaché. Afterwards, the Senior General and the delegation had luncheon with families of the embassy and the military attaché office and scholarship trainees.
