Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation from Russian Federation led by Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy Admiral Nikolai A.EVMENOV at the parlour of Zeyathiri Villa here this morning.
Present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo from Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and senior military officers. The Russian Navy Admiral was accompanied by Russian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. IskandarAzizov, senior officers from Russian Navy and Russian military attaché.
During the discussions, views on promotion of military friendship and cooperation between the two countries, the ongoing defence cooperation between the navies of the two countries, exchange of goodwill visits by naval boats and senior military officers of the two countries, joint maritime security trainings between the two navies, Tatmadaw officers pursuing knowledge in Russia, bilateral cultural cooperation and promotion of cooperation between the two armed forces were exchanged in a cordial atmosphere.
After the call, the Senior General and the Russian Navy Admiral exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photo.
