A Russian delegation led by Mr. Alexander Sergeevich SHATIROV, chief executive officer of Fund RC-Investment of the Russian Federation, paid a courtesy call on Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the Office of Chairman of State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon.
Present at the meeting with the Chairman of State AdministrationCouncil Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing were Joint Secretary of SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo.With Chief Executive Officer Mr. Alexander Sergeevich SHATIROV, the Russian delegation members, Ambassador of Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov and officials. At the meeting, they cordially discussed progress in economic cooperation between Russian and Myanmar, cooperation in generation of electricity from solar energy, mineral extraction and value-added production in Myanmar, matters
related to energy production, cooperation in conservation of natural resources and environmental conservation, production of fertilizer necessary for the agriculture industry, matters of manufacturing agricultural products of Myanmar as value-added ones and exporting them to Russia, improvement of bilateral friendship relations and cooperation, and tasks to be carried on and exchanged views on the matters discussed.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the chief executive officer of Fund RC-Investment of the Russian Federation exchanged the souvenirs and had a documentary photo taken together with the attendees.
