Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted a dinner in honour of the Thai delegation led by Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces General Chalermphon Srisawasdi and wife Madame Budsakorn Srisawasdi, which attended the 8th High Level Committee Meeting between the two armed forces hosted by Myanmar, at the Jasmine Ngapali Resort on Ngapali Beach in Thandwe of Rakhine State this evening.
First, the Senior General and wife cordially greeted the Thai delegation led by the Thai General and wife.
Then, the Senior General and wife and the Thai General and wife launched hot-air balloons to mark the successful conclusion of the high level committee meeting together with senior military officers from the two armed forces.
Afterward, the Senior General and wife and the Thai General and wife enjoyed dinner together with guests.
Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General and wife and the Thai General and wife were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air)General Tun Aung and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, senior officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces and wives, military attachesé from both countries and wives and officials.
Before and during the dinner, vocalists from the Myawady band of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare, artists from the Fine Arts Department and Myanmar Radio and Television, freelance artists and singers from the state cultural team performed music.
After the performance, fireworks marking the success of the high level committee meeting between the two armed forces were launched.
Then, the Senior General and wife and the Thai General and wife exchanged gifts.
Afterward, the Senior General and wife and the Thai General and wife presented a basket of flowers and cash rewards to the artistes who performed music at the dinner before posing for documentary photographs with them.
