Nay Pyi Taw, November 26
The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the invitation of member of the Central Military Commission of China and Chief of the Joint Staff Department of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Gen. Li Zuocheng left Bao’an Airport in Shenzhen City this afternoon.
The delegation was seen off at the airport by Maj. Gen. Cheng Daoxiang, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Southern Theatre Command, senior officers of the PLA, Myanmar Ambassador to China U Thit Linn Ohn, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Tint Hsan and officials.
The Senior General and party arrived back at Yangon International Airport this evening and was welcomed back by Lt-Gen Thein Htay of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Thet Pon and senior military officers, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Hong Liang and officials.
Senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief who accompanied the Senior General also arrived back on the same flight.
