Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador H.E. Mr.Deng Xijun of Foreign Affairs Ministry of China at State Administration Council Office here this afternoon.
At the meeting, cordial discussions were centred on developments in Myanmar, ongoing State’s peace talks with EAOs for national peace and stability, China’s assistance in the peace process, China’s steadfast stance on supporting Myanmar in international affairs, China’s continuous humanitarian assistance, China’s investments for Myanmar’s development and promotion of bilateral friendship and cooperation.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Chinese ambassador exchanged commemorative gifts.
Also present together with the Senior General were State Administration Council Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and officials. The Chinese ambassador was accompanied by officials of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
