In Mandalay, Maha Wizitayone Monastery’s Presiding Nayaka State Ovadacariya Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Ratta Guru, Abhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhammajotika Agga Maha Pandita Bhaddanta Visarinda Bhivamsa, aged 96, and 76 vassa, is receiving medical care at the military hospital in PyinOoLwin. Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander -in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, along with his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and other officials, visited this morning to check on his health condition and the care he is receiving.
First, the Senior General, his wife, and party paid their respects to the Sayadaw and inquired about the medical care he is receiving. The responsible personnel briefed them on the Sayadaw’s health condition. The Senior General emphasized the importance of contnuous monitoring of the Sayadaw’s health, ensuring necessary provisions, maintaining his strength, hygiene, and facilitating exercises for mobility. He also instructed that all necessary medical support be provided to ensure the Sayadaw’s smooth return to his monastery.
After that, the Senior General and his wife offered alms, medical supplies, nutritional food, and cash donations to the Sayadaw.
Following this, they visited military personnel, police offi[1]cers, and members of the People’s Militia Force who were injured while performing their duties and are currently receiving treatment at the hospital The Senior General spoke with them warmly and inquired about their conditions, giving encouragement and addressing their needs.
The Senior General, his wife, and party also provided cash rewards and gifts to these injured individuals.
Similarly, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, accompanied by other members, visited the maternity and pediatric ward, encouraging and presenting gifts to the families of military personnel receiving treatment.
Lastly, the Senior General and party inspected the medical equipment and facilities at the hospital, giving guidance to the responsible personnel based on their observations.
They in a motorcade also toured the regiments, units, training schools, and universities in the PyinOoLwin Station for inspection.
