Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, at the parlour of his office here this afternoon.
Present together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials. The special envoy was accompanied by the delegation members.
At the call, cordial discussions were centred on friendship and diplomatic relations between the two countries, Myanmar’s internal peace, peace and stability in border areas, cooperative undertakings of the two countries to eliminate online gambling, online frauds, other types of financial frauds and illegal businesses, SAC’s implementation of the adopted objectives and roadmap for national peace, stability and development, and preparations to hold a free and fair multi-party general election.
