Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspects stability measures in Regional Military Command (Loikaw)

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commanderin- Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. accompanied by  Commanderin- Chief (Navy) Vice Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, union level officials, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and officials, inspected measures for stability in Regional Military Command (Loikaw) this morning.

First, Region Military Command (Loikaw) Commander Col Aung Kyaw Khaing reported to the Senior General on security measures taken by Tatmadaw personnel in cooperation with members of the police, security and Loikaw and Loikaw Airport, security of roads and bridges, efforts for stability in respective stations, attempts of KNPP, KNDF and so-called PDF terrorists to destabilize the region, arrests of so-called PDF terrorists and seizures of weapons and ammunition.

After hearing the reports, the Senior General said clashes have broken out in Shan State  (North) and Loikaw simultaneously since 2021 and officers and other ranks and families of the Tatmadaw relentlessly fought the enemies back. The Tatmadaw has been safeguarding the sovereignty of the country and our three main national causes.

Tatmadaw personnel and members of the police performing  duties uninterruptedly for security of lives and property of the people. Efforts must be made to carry out security measures in areas related to Loikaw and to bring normalcy to Loikaw. It is necessary to concerted efforts for security to successfully conduct population and household census. In conclusion, the Senior General gave other necessary instructions on regional security and stability.
