Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla enjoyed Maha Janaka drama, one of the 10 Jataka tales, contest of silver jubilee commemorative 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions at the open air theatre of Nay Pyi Taw Development Affairs Committee here this evening.
Present together with the Senior General and wife were SAC member General Maung Maung Aye and wife, union ministers and wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chair, deputy ministers, judges, managers, coaches, national races contestants from regions and states, cadets who were on a study tour in Nay Pyi Taw, civil servants and families, and drama lovers.
The Senior General and wife and party enjoyed the narratives, dramatic dialogues, songs, emotional scenes, words of Maha Janaka drama performed by Min Naing Soe theatrical troupe of Mon State, combined with music, dances and beautiful scenes.
After the contest the Senior General and wife cordially greeted judges and contestants. Maha Ayeya theatrical troupe of Ayeyawady Region took part in the Maha Janaka drama contest on 14 October, Phankha Myay theatrical troupe of Magway Region, on 15 October and Min Naing Soe theatrical troupe of Mon State, today.
Theatrical troupes of Mandalay Region, Yangon Region, Bago Region and Sagaing Region will took part in the contest on the respective days during the period from 17 to 20 October.
