Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held talks with Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who is in Kunming, the People’s Republic of China to attend summits including 8th Greater Mekong Subregion Economic Cooperation Program (GMS) Summit at Wyndham Grand hotel in Kunming yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting views on the impact of one’s issues on another between Myanmar and Thailand that are indivisible good neighborly friends, peace and stability, rule of law and development undertakings at the common border, anti-transnational crime, counternarcotics and anti-online gambling, border trade, investment and economic promotion, labour affairs, promotion of ministryto- ministry and department-to-department cooperation between the two countries, latest political developments in Myanmar and the progress made in line with the adopted objectives, preparations to successfully hold a free and fair multiparty general election were exchanged in a cordial atmosphere.
After the meeting the Senior General and the Thai PM cor-dially greeted the attendees.
