An honorary dinner was hosted this evening for the ceremony to present national literary awards for lifetime achievements, national literary awards, Sarpay Beikman manuscript awards for 2023 in commemoration of the 75th anniversary diamond jubilee national literary awards at the International Convention Centre I in Nay Pyi Taw and Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony and the dinner.
Also present at the events together with the Senior General were wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo and wife and members of the SAC and their wives, union ministers, union level officials and their wives, senior military officers from the office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and their wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, deputy ministers, members veteran writers of the award scrutinizing committe, award winner, academics, artists and officials.
First, the Senior General and wife were welcomed by attendees.
Then, the Senior General and wife enjoyed the dinner together with the guests.
Before and during the dinner, artists from the Fine Arts Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, the MRTV of Ministry of Information and the Myawady band of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare entertained the guests with music and dances.
After the dinner, the Senior General and wife presented a honorary flower basket for the artists.
