The main structure of underpass is 11 feet high, 23 feet wide and 461 feet long with four entrances and exits for use of some 14,000 people per hour. The underpass is facilitated with four escalators and two lifts for older persons and the people with disabilities. Thanks to the underpass, people and pilgrims can travel there with traffic safety, and it can contribute to reduction of traffic congestion on U Wisara Road to some extent.
The already-opened underpass can benefit the people and become a development symbol of Yangon.
