The honorary dinner and entertainment commemorating the 77th Anniversary Independence Day hosted by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla was held on the lawn of the Office of Chairman of the SAC in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
First, the guests to the Independence Day dinner were welcomed by Vice Chairman of the SAC Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe and union ministers and their wives.
Then, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla arrived at the lawn and, together with the Vice-Senior General and wife, cordially greeted chairmen and representatives of political parties, ambassadors, charges d’affaires, honorary consuls of foreign missions and guests.
Afterward, the Senior General and wife observed the launching of fireworks together with the guests. Then, the Senior General and wife enjoyed the dinner together with the guests at the honorary hall. Before and during the dinner, artists from the Myanmar Radio and Television of the Ministry of Information and Fine Arts Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture played music and performed variety shows.
The Senior General and wife and guests enjoyed the entertainment. After the shows, the Senior General and wife presented an honorary flower basket for the artists and cordially greeted the guests.
Also present at the dinner were the Vice-Senior General and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, the secretary of the SAC and wife, the joint secretary of the SAC and wife, members of the SAC and their wives, union level officials and their wives, advisors to the Chairman of the SAC, members of the Central Advisory Board of the SAC, union ministers and their wives, members of union level bodies, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander- in-Chief of Defence Services, deputy ministers, ambassadors, charges d’affaires and honorary consuls of foreign missions, winners of honorary titles marking the 77th Anniversary Independence Day, departmental heads, chairmen and representatives of political parties, nationalraces, artists, non-governmental organizations and guests.
