Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in Moscow of the Russian Federation, held a meeting with Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Mr. Andrei Removich at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation this morning.
The meeting was also attended by SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council member General Nyo Saw, National Security Adviser Admiral Moe Aung, Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Linn Ohn, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander- in-Chief (Army) and
the Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air). The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation was accompanied by Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council Mr. Sergey Kuzhugetovich
Shoigu, officials of the Ministry of Defence and senior officers from the Russian armed forces. On arrival at the Ministry of Defence, the Senior General and his entourage were cordially welcomed by the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation.
At the meeting, they frankly discussed cooperation in all arenas of the defence sector between the two countries, improvement of civilian and military relations between the two countries and two Tatmadaws with a plan to further promote relations, cooperation in providing humanitarian aid, and enhancement of cooperation in military technology.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Russian Minister of Defence exchanged comemorative gifts and had documentary photos taken.
