On behalf of H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs H.E. U Than Swe, who is a member of Myanmar delegation, presented the “Sithu” title to H.E. Mr. Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov on March 5,2025 at 10:30 AM, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The title has been conferred to H.E.Mr. Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov by H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Following the conferment ceremony, the two sides held open and cordial discussions on further enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as Myanmar’s role as the country coordinator for ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations.
