Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun at the parlour of the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
Also present together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, SAC member Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and officials and the special envoy was accompanied by officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
During the meeting, they frankly discussed China’s plans to cooperate positively in the implementation of the fiveroadmap by the government of Myanmar and the Tatmadaw and preparations for election, China’s cooperation in the peace process of Myanmar, cooperation between the two countries in prevention of narcotic drugs and elimination of online gambling and scams and border trade between two countries.
