Nay Pyi Taw January 9
Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing hosted dinner to Lt.Gen. Perry Lim, the chief of the Singaporean Defence Force, at Park Royal Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were his spouse Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander- in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).The Singaporean Defence Force Chief was accompanied by his spouse Mrs.Lynn Lim, Singaporean military officers and Singaporean Military Attaché to Myanmar Col. Edmund Tan.
The Senior General and wife welcomed their Singaporean counterparts. The Senior General then extended greetings and his Singa-porean counterpart spoke words of thanks. The two then had dinner together with those present.
During the dinner, Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare entertained with songs and dance, and the two chiefs exchanged gifts after the dinner. They also presented flower bouquets to entertainers and posed for documentary photo with them.
