Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military offi cers of the Offi ce of the Commander-in- Chief, the commander of Coastal Region Command and offi cials, inspected the proposed site of modern Myeik Fish Auction Market to be built by Myeik Public Corporation Limited and Myeik fi shery entrepreneurs, this morning.
At the briefi ng hall, Quartermaster-General Lt-Gen Nyo Saw and offi cials presented a report on the progress in implementing the modern Myeik Fish Auction Market project. In response, the Senior General said the airport extension project should not harm the buildings as Myeik is gaining ground for further progress. Long-term progress must be taken into account in carrying every project, he said.
Later, the Senior General and party visited the site where the market will be built.
