Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who participated in the 15th ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces Informal Meeting (15th ACDFIM) in Singapore, attended a farewell dinner hosted by Chief of Defence Force of Singapore Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Perry Lim at Clifford Pier of the Fullerton Bay Hotel on 8 March evening.
Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, members of Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation, ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces and their delegation members. First, the Senior General and wife, and the ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces and their wives rode the river cruise liners along the river from Fullerton Jetty and arrived at Clifford Jetty. The Senior General and party posed for documentary photo together with the ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces and their wives.
At the dinner, the Singaporean Chief of Defence Force extended greetings. Then, the Senior General and wife, and the ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces and their wives had the dinner together with those present.
During the dinner, the music band played songs of ASEAN countries and performed dance entertainment. After the dinner, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the ASEAN Chiefs of Defence Forces and their wives exchanged commemorative gifts with Singaporean Chief of Defence Force Lt. Gen. Perry Lim and wife.
