Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing hosted a dinner in honour of Chief of Army Staff of the Nepal Army General Rajendra Chhetri at Hilton Hotel here this evening.
Also present at the dinner together with the Senior General were his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and wife, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command. The Nepalese General was accompanied by Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Bhim K. Udas and wife and senior military officers of the Nepal Army.
First, the Senior General and wife greeted the visiting Nepalese delegation headed by the Nepal General and wife. Next, they had dinner together. Before and during the dinner, Myawady music band under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare and Nepalese Gawrakha cultural troupe from PyinOoLwin gave their performances with songs and dances of the two countries. After the dinner, the Senior General and wife and General Rajendra Chhetri and wife exchanged gifts.
Then, baskets of flowers were presented to the entertainment troupe and Nepalese Gawrakha cultural troupe, and they had a documentary photo taken.
