Nay Pyi Taw, July 5
Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Daniel Patrick Chugg, accredited Ambassador of Britain to Myanmar, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this morning.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt- Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The British Ambassador to Myanmar was accompanied by Military Attaché Col. Nigel Goodwin and officials.
At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on promotion of relations between the two countries and the two armed forces. After the meeting, the Senior General presented the commemorative gift to the British Ambassador to Myanmar.
