Commander-in-Chief of De-fence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Colonel General Ale-xander Vasilievich Fomin at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this morning.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Lt-Gen Nyo Saw, Lt-Gen Soe Htut and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation was accompanied by Military Attaché of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Colonel Eduard N. OKLADNIKOV and officials.
At the meeting, both sides frankly exchanged views on progress of further strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two armed forces of both countries, cooperation in military technologies between the two armed forces, participation of the Myanmar Tatmadaw in the 2018 International Army Games held in Russia, exchange of goodwill visits between the two armed forces at different levels, and further promotion of cooperation.
The Senior General and the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation posed for group documentary photo after exchanging commemorative gifts.
